13th annual UzTEA conference in Tashkent

On December, 4 - 5, 2009 the 13th annual UzTEA conference took place in Tashkent. The theme of the conference was Integrated Skills Development in ELT. Steve McNulty, director of British Council, Uzbekistan opened the conference with presentation Teaching Integrated Skills. The other keynote speaker was Dennis Johnson, English Language Fellow, who delivered a lecture Inside the American-Style Essay. At the plenary ETTE team reported about results of the project.
Samarkand was presented by a team of 10 people. For one of them, Karina Avanesova, it was the first conference in her life.
Samarkand UzTEA branch was established in July, 1997. It is hardly possible to enlist all events, seminars and conferences which our branch conducted.
