The week was very busy and, although the articipants managed to talk over a great number of issues, the idea of cooperation of the British Council with other partners (first of all, with Ministries of Education and professional teachers associations) was of a particular importance. As a result of these discussions, the Samarkand meeting enabled all the participants to return home ready to take the project through its one of the most exciting stages. In spite of the tightly-filled agenda of the week, the participants had an opportunity to enjoy the spring in the beautiful city of Samarkand and to visit its famous ancient monuments.
